Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Care Professional. In this role, you will provide complex care to high acuity clients, working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will be responsible for administering medications, performing IV cannulation, and providing wound care, among other tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications via various routes, including IV, IM, SC, and PO
  • Perform IV cannulation and manage IV therapy
  • Provide comprehensive wound care, including debridement and dressing changes
  • Accurately document client information in medical records
  • Communicate effectively with the clinical team to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes
Requirements
  • Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration
  • Minimum 1 year acute experience in nursing
  • NDIS clearance or willingness to obtain one
  • Police clearance within 6 months or willingness to obtain one
  • Use of personal vehicle with KM allowance provided
  • Full driver's license and reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
  • CPR and manual handling certifications
  • Experience in community nursing, particularly with Home Care Packages, Department of Veteran Affairs, and Commonwealth Home Support Program
  • Strong desire to work in a mission-based organization
  • Working with Children's check

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $83,000 - $110,000 AUD, depending on qualifications and experience.
