Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Visual Effects Animator to join our team. As a key member of the animation department, you will be responsible for creating high-quality visual effects that enhance the storytelling and immersion in our live-action films.

About the Role:

  • Create believable animation with convincing performances and motion.
  • Complete digi-double, creature, character or rigid body animation.
  • Deliver work to strict deadlines and maintain project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Animation Creation: Utilize your expertise in CG animation to create realistic and engaging visual effects that bring our stories to life.
  2. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Animation, Animation Supervisors, and fellow Animators to ensure seamless integration of visual effects into the overall narrative.
  3. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining project schedules while delivering high-quality results.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in CG animation with experience working on high-end live action VFX feature films.
  • Thorough understanding of 3D layouts and ability to troubleshoot and predict potential problems with assigned tasks and issues coming from other departments.
  • Able to support the Leads and Supervisors, as well as mentor junior artists.
  • Proactive approach to finding creative solutions within the bounds of the shots.
