By collaborating with diverse teams, they tackle the most complex compositing shots and play a crucial part in shaping the look of specific effects, shots, and sequences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Key Looks: Collaborate with Lighting Department and Production Designer to create visually stunning images while maintaining continuity throughout sequences.
  • Collaborate with Lighting Supervisor: Bring the Director's vision to life using compositing and lighting expertise.
  • Tackle Complex Tasks: Meet productivity and quota targets with excellent artistic skills and a keen eye for color.
  • Design Innovative Tools: Enhance compositing workflows by developing innovative tools, pipelines, and techniques.
  • Mentor Junior Compositors: Foster a knowledge-sharing culture and provide solutions to visual problems.
  • Effective Team Collaboration: Communicate professionally and diplomatically within a team, respecting all members and maintaining confidentiality.
Requirements
  • 5+ Years of Experience: Proven track record in compositing experience in animated feature films or live-action VFX projects.
  • Expertise in Look Development: Strong knowledge and production experience using Nuke.
  • Strong Understanding of CG Elements: AOVs, render layers, and other components.
  • Color Theory and Aesthetic Sensibility: Deep understanding of color theory and skill in applying it to create visually striking images.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of balancing quick turnarounds with long-term quality.
