Visual Effects Artist - Animation

We are seeking an experienced Visual Effects Artist to join our team in creating high-quality visual effects for animated features.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in particle systems, dynamics, and simulations, as well as excellent artistic skills and keen attention to detail.

This role is based in Sydney, Australia and involves working collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create visually interesting, high-quality effects.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and departments to produce effects and shots.
  • Utilize Houdini and the studio pipeline to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Apply problem-solving skills to fix issues and address creative challenges.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Visual Effects Artist in animation or visual effects.
  • Proficiency in Houdini.
  • Strong understanding of particle systems, dynamics, and simulations.
  • Excellent artistic skills with keen attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
