Program Coordinator Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Program Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in coordinating the Indigenous Health Workforce Traineeship (IHWT) Program across Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Services (ACCHS) in Western Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate program activities to increase the number of skilled Aboriginal people working in the Aboriginal health care sector.
  • Create career pathways in the health and community services sector for Aboriginal people.
  • Broaden the capacity of ACCHS to provide culturally appropriate healthcare services to Aboriginal people.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in program administration, recruitment, training, and development, or a related field.
  • Understanding of the vocational education and training (VET) sector and navigating qualifications delivered by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).
  • Well-developed administrative skills, including strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with applicants, external organisations, management, and employees at all levels.
  • Highly organised with the ability to plan and coordinate workload effectively.
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft correspondence, edit documents, and write reports.
