We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced chef to join our team in a busy, open-plan kitchen. As a chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking international hot and cold meals in commercial quantities for business and economy class passengers.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate III Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications and possess strong culinary skills. You will be required to work a 7-day rotating roster and maintain a high level of quality control. Good written and verbal communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and cooking meals in line with menu specifications and food safety policies
  • Managing stock levels and minimizing food waste
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate III Commercial Cookery or higher qualifications
  • Strong culinary skills and attention to detail
