Job Title

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Workplace Health and Safety Coordinator to support our National Safety Team in the management of our company safety system and promoting work health and safety across our facilities.

 

  • Tertiary qualifications in WHS are essential, as is experience in Work Health and Safety and demonstrated knowledge in relevant WHS legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required, along with effective skills in planning, time management, problem solving and decision making.
  • A commitment to achieving excellent outcomes, with a strong sense of accountability and customer service, is also essential.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support the National Safety Team in the management of our company safety system.
  • Promote work health and safety across our facilities.
  • Develop and implement WHS policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor WHS compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on WHS matters.

Requirements:

 

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months.
  • According to the role, we may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
