About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team at Optimal Recruitment Australia. As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying opportunities to grow sales, and supporting our customer base with strong applications knowledge and practical/critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities to grow sales via a solution-oriented approach
  • Support customer base with strong applications knowledge and practical/critical thinking
  • Able to work within a team and independently to achieve targets
  • Able to travel to regional areas and interstate from time to time
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the field
  • Proven relationship building and management experience
  • Have a hands-on approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Trustworthy with impeccable work ethics
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and accountable
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities and proactive in approach
  • Ability to work under pressure to meet strict reporting deadlines
  • Experience and Knowledge Current NSW or Equivalent Driver's License
  • Knowledge of Water or Wastewater, Food and Beverage or equivalent applications highly desirable
  • Solid understanding and interest in technical products
  • Electrical qualification/Instrumentation background would be highly regarded
  • Strong Microsoft Office proficiency
