Our organization is seeking a highly experienced finance leader to oversee the financial strategy for a groundbreaking defence program.

This influential role offers an opportunity to contribute at a crucial stage of the program, integrating the finance strategy across the program, collaborating with our partners to define the financial approach for establishing new business, and delivering long-term, effective, and sustainable financial solutions to support the success of this strategic programme.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and managing the financial strategy for the programme
  • Collaborating with our partners to define the financial approach for establishing new business
  • Preparing and conducting financial planning analysis, managing financial transactions & providing financial decision support
  • Identifying, assessing and mitigating financial risks
  • Aligning activities with our Strategy and assisting us to meet any relevant contractual deliverables

Candidate Profile:

You'll be a highly experienced finance leader with over 10 years in a senior and influential role, possessing strong knowledge and understanding of financial principles, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and risk management.

Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience in development and management of financial strategy for the establishment of new business and or JVs
  • Proven experience in strategic financial planning
  • Strong relationships with key stakeholders (internal and external) in a large complex organisation
