The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery, identifying and troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions to ensure optimal performance.

You will also be required to develop and maintain technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to process improvements.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a similar trade;
  • A strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles;
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work in a safe and efficient manner;

As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities. You will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and repairing subsea oil and gas equipment;
  • Ensuring that necessary materials, equipment, parts, procedures, and qualifications are available to perform the job according to established protocols;
  • Commissioning, running, maintaining, and repairing Baker Hughes equipment;
  • Ensuring that workshop procedures cover actual work and are followed;
  • Promoting and ensuring compliance to company and regulatory quality management systems at all times;
  • Ensuring that workshop equipment and facilities are suitable and in operational condition;
  • Ensuring that Work Orders are followed, filled in with necessary information, contain correct documentation, and are signed and completed;
  • Ensuring use of materials and support substances according to specific requirements;
