Key Job Role: Senior Engineer – Maintenance Management Programs

This senior engineer position plays a pivotal role in shaping the Council's infrastructure asset management frameworks.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing tactical maintenance programs to enhance asset performance and service levels.

  • Develop, implement and continuously improve asset management frameworks, including tactical programs for asset renewal, maintenance strategy, condition assessments, asset criticality, defect elimination, work management, change management and planned outages.
  • Provide support to stakeholders where required on asset management initiatives.
Essential Skills:

To excel in this role, you will need to have extensive experience in maintenance management within a medium to large organisation. You should possess a deep understanding of ISO55000 standards and practices in a local government context.

  • Able to communicate complex information about asset performance and service levels effectively to executives, peers and operational teams.
  • Simplify complexity, engage stakeholders and deliver meaningful outcomes through your work.
  • Confident working across disciplines, including maintenance management programs, data and analytics and AM systems.
