Job Summary

A National Technical Training Director is sought to oversee the creation, delivery, and optimization of technical training for our Tax team nationwide.

This dual-role position involves managing national technical training schedules, budgets, and L&D initiatives to ensure timely and relevant training programs are delivered to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a Chartered Accounting background and comparable technical experience in Learning and Development (L&D), seeking a career development pathway away from client-facing work.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with senior leaders across tax service lines and subject matter experts to coordinate delivery of training programs addressing Tax technical training needs by level and market.
  • Identify, create, and deliver Tax technical thought leadership materials to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage national technical training schedules and L&D budgets, ensuring training is appropriately delivered and received by stakeholders.
  • Curate and manage a knowledge library for easy access to contemporary training tools by Tax team members.
  • Lead national training projects as required, preparing project reports and status updates.
Key Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Chartered Accounting ('Big Four' or Mid-Tier National Firm) background.
  • Comparable technical and training experience in L&D.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
