Job Opportunity: Phlebotomy Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Phlebotomy Trainer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing shift allocations to meet the needs of the region.
  • Assisting with the recruitment and training of Pathology Specimen Collectors.
  • Ensuring best practice service standards are met in all locations.
  • Collecting blood and other samples from patients.
  • Packaging and dispatching of specimens, including stock and equipment maintenance.
  • Coordinating customer appointments and request details.
  • Ensuring adherence to Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Policies.

About You:

  • You will need to have demonstrated experience in all facets of Phlebotomy and the ability to supervise staff.
  • Deliver training with positive outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills and intermediate computer experience.
  • Strong customer focus and accuracy with attention to detail.
  • A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and adhere to policies and procedures and convey this knowledge to both existing and new employees.
