About Our Mental Health Nursing Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to deliver high-quality care to patients, providing support and guidance in a nurturing environment.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting risk assessments, developing crisis intervention plans, and participating in case formulation and medication management. You will also work closely with the Senior Mental Health team to ensure comprehensive care and support for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based mental health services to patients
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop effective crisis intervention plans
  • Participate in case formulation and medication management
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support

Requirements:

  • A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia
  • Credentialing with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses or a minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
  • At least 2 years' experience in mental health nursing, including comprehensive assessments and delivery of evidence-based care
  • A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
