Heavy Diesel Fleet Mechanic Specialist

We are seeking a qualified and safety-conscious heavy vehicle mechanic to support the maintenance and reliability of our fleet. This full-time role involves working across a wide range of equipment, including heavy earthmoving machinery.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform preventative maintenance and repairs to ensure projects run smoothly and safely.
- Diagnose and repair faults in plant and truck fleet equipment.
- Service and maintain equipment while adhering to workshop rules and regulations.
- Work efficiently within tight schedules while maintaining high standards.
- Collaborate with suppliers for quality and best-priced parts.
- Fully qualified with at least 2 years' experience as a heavy diesel or plant mechanic.
- Solid knowledge of drivetrain, brakes, and suspension systems.
- Basic understanding of auto electrical systems.
- Proficiency with computers and digital diagnostics.
- Strong commitment to work health and safety.
- Excellent people management skills.
- A professional, confident individual with flexibility and ability to demonstrate learnings.
As a team player with strong communication skills, you will be able to communicate effectively with various individuals and contribute to a high-performance team.
