About the Role

As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in coordinating freight movement and supporting smooth terminal operations. This involves:

  • Monitoring and recording containerised freight movements in and out of the depot with accuracy and precision.
  • Collaborating with supervisors to confirm freight details, including quantities, types, and ETAs, ensuring seamless communication across teams.
  • Managing paperwork effectively, including delivery dockets, consignment notes, receipts, labels, and release forms, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Providing excellent customer service to truck drivers, yard staff, and team members through clear and concise communication via radio and in person.
  • Generating reports, run sheets, and maintaining system data to support informed decision-making and optimal operational efficiency.
  • Supporting 24/7 gatehouse operations across rotating day and night shifts, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
About You

We are seeking an organised and detail-focused individual who can contribute to our team's success. Key skills and qualifications include:

  • A valid C Class driver's licence (mandatory).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • BASIC MICROSOFT OFFICE PROFICIENCY AND ADAPTABILITY TO NEW SYSTEMS.
  • Good problem-solving and coordination abilities, with a focus on safety and quality.
  • The ability to work independently and meet deadlines, prioritising tasks effectively.
