HVAC Technician, Journeyman

We are seeking a skilled HVAC technician to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and a strong work ethic.

As an HVAC technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. You will work with a variety of equipment and tools, and you will need to be able to diagnose problems quickly and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a solid understanding of HVAC principles, codes, and safety standards. You will also need to be able to communicate effectively with customers and colleagues, and you will need to be proactive in identifying and resolving issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems.
  • Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
Requirements:
  • You must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • You must have a US TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly, or an Australian PV clearance.
  • You must have a minimum of five years of HVAC technician experience.
  • You must have a Journeyman HVAC License, or Australian equivalent.
  • You should have strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • You should have attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • You should be adaptable to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • You should have strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
