Job Overview

The Generator Specialist plays a crucial role in designing and optimizing defense systems to ensure national security.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversee the installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of generator systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify issues in generator systems, utilizing specialized tools and equipment for accurate assessments.
  • Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections, and prepare reports for management review.
  • Implement and uphold safety protocols during all operations, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to team members on the proper use and maintenance of generator systems.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operations during power outages or emergencies.
Requirements
  • Must be a US or Australian citizen.
  • Must have a US Secret clearance, or an Australian NV-1 clearance.
  • Must have a minimum of five years of experience as a generator specialist.
  • Must be a Certified Generator Mechanic (Note: CAT is strongly preferred).
  • Must be capable of troubleshooting small and large generators (i.e., Cummins, FG Wilson, Agrrekko, Caterpillar).
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
Desired Qualifications
  • OEM Power Plant Operator Certification.
