Job Overview:

This role is responsible for conducting face-to-face and remote loan interviews with clients, assisting with compiling and submitting loan applications, following up on required documentation, and liaising with Centrelink where necessary.

The successful candidate will be based in Lismore but may occasionally travel across the NSW North Coast region.

About the Job
  • Conduct thorough loan interviews with clients to assess their financial situation and provide suitable solutions.
  • Work closely with clients to compile and submit accurate loan applications.
  • Follow up on any required documentation to ensure timely processing of loan applications.
  • Liaise with Centrelink representatives to facilitate a smooth loan application process.

You'll have the opportunity to promote the NILs program and connect clients to other Community Gateway services.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and meet reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with Centrelink procedures and policies.
