Job Title

Electrical Supervisor

A leading mining organization is seeking a qualified Electrical Supervisor to oversee the daily activities of its electrical team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all maintenance electrical works are completed in a safe and timely manner, with minimal disruption to production. This will involve developing and maintaining sound working relationships with contractors, and having contingency plans in place.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of electrical team inclusive of contractors.
  • Ensure all maintenance electrical works are completed in a safe manner and in compliance with established safe work procedures and systems.
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for the Electrical team through effective use of Performance Management Systems.
  • Assist to develop and maintain training and development plans for the team.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • An Australian recognized Electrical trade qualification & WA Electrical License.
  • Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate.
  • High Voltage Switching Qualifications And Experience.
  • Previous Electrical Supervisory experience with strong practical knowledge.
  • A current Electrical Nominee's License.
  • SAP knowledge would be highly regarded.
  • Instrumentation experience is an advantage.
  • A valid manual driver's license.
