Electrical Supervisor Job Overview

The Electrical Supervisor is a critical role within our organization, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the electrical team. This includes managing contractors and ensuring that all maintenance electrical works are completed safely and in compliance with established procedures.

This position requires strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide the Electrical team through effective performance management systems. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and maintaining training and development plans for the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of electrical team inclusive of contractors
  • Ensure all maintenance electrical works are completed in a safe manner and in compliance with established procedures
  • Provide ongoing leadership and mentoring for the Electrical team through effective use of performance management systems
  • Assist to develop and maintain training and development plans for the team

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Relevant Australian recognised Electrical trade qualification & WA Electrical License
  • Statutory 26 Supervisor Certificate
  • High Voltage Switching Qualifications And Experience
  • Previous Electrical Supervisory experience with strong practical knowledge
  • A current Electrical Nominee's License
  • SAP knowledge would be highly regarded
  • Instrumentation experience is an advantage
  • A valid manual driver's license
  • Demonstrated leadership and performance development experience within a mining environment
  • The ability to multitask, communicate clearly and be proactive
