Senior Commercial Analyst
About the Role:
The Senior Commercial Analyst will be a key business partner to Financial Services, supporting line of business growth and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver accurate budgets, forecasts, and long-range plans incorporating financial & non-financial metrics aligned to strategy
- Analyse business drivers and competitor performance to identify insights and trends, presenting findings and recommendations to leadership team
- Owning month-end revenue close and results
- Maintaining and building forecast revenue model for Financial Services
- Valuating Trail Book, working closely with FS data team
- Leading financial modelling for new initiatives and partnerships – delivering financially viable strategies on new business models
- Collaborating with Financial Services Commercial Analyst across expense close, forecasting, opex/capex analysis, and reporting
- Handling and interpreting large datasets and uncovering insights that support decision making
- Improving current processes, systems, and tools
- Ensuring strong financial control discipline, meeting relevant SOX compliance requirements
- Partnering with stakeholders and influencing key decisions
- Driving improvements in reporting/analysis for management team, executive leadership, and Board level reporting
- Staying up-to-date with mortgage industry and market trends, identifying and managing internal and external financial risks and opportunities
Requirements:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification
