Strategic Business Partner

At the heart of our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Business Partner to operate as an extension of our executive leadership team.

This pivotal role will enable effective decision-making, drive alignment across executive priorities, and ensure the delivery of key organizational outcomes.

The Strategic Business Partner will provide strategic analysis on complex issues, prepare high-quality briefings, and strengthen our engagement with internal and external stakeholders.

Acting as a sounding board, the Strategic Business Partner will bring exceptional judgment and discretion, while helping shape our organization's direction and ensuring our leaders remain focused on the highest priorities.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to our leadership team, providing expert advice and insights to inform critical decisions.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefing materials, board papers, and reports aligned with governance and strategy.
  • Oversee cross-functional strategic initiatives, ensuring milestones are met and risks managed.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with funders, partners, and sector stakeholders.
  • Optimize workflows and priorities in partnership with our leadership team to enhance organizational efficiency.

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Demonstrated experience in senior strategic advisory, policy, or executive leadership roles (healthcare or community sector highly regarded).
  • Exceptional judgment, political acumen, and the ability to influence outcomes.
  • Strong written communication skills, with experience preparing board papers, briefings, and high-level reports.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, track strategic initiatives, and deliver results.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to foster trust and credibility across executive teams and external stakeholders.
