Job Overview:

A dynamic and charismatic leader is sought to supervise a high-performing breakfast team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to motivate employees, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the dining area is set up for breakfast service, including clean and functional equipment, and well-presented tables with cutlery and glassware.
  • Conduct daily briefings before breakfast service to assign duties, highlight VIP guests or special dietary requests, and reinforce guest service expectations and safety reminders.
  • Coordinate the breakfast team's weekly roster and collaborate with the Events Manager and Bar Supervisor on crossover of team members for rosters.
  • Review event function sheets (BEOs) daily to understand event details, special requests, dietary restrictions, and AV requirements.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings with the event team to allocate roles, ensure uniform compliance, and professional appearance.
  • Report event feedback and any incidents to the Event Manager or F&B Manager.
  • Run IRD orders to rooms and coordinate with the team to action.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in coordinating events, preferably corporate meetings, weddings, and private functions.
  • Background in hotel, resort, or high-volume restaurant environment is highly desirable.
  • Valid RSA certification and Food Safety Supervisor Certificate are highly preferred.
  • Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and coordinate responsibilities with the team.
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
