Culinary Role Opportunity

Deliver exceptional breakfast services as a part-time Commis Chef in a dynamic culinary environment. Ideal for individuals with a passion for food and flexibility to work early shifts.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve high-quality breakfast buffet dishes
  • Lead the preparation and setup of breakfast service stations
  • Maintain strict adherence to food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards
  • Contribute to menu development and recipe creation
  • Promote effective communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
  • Support training and supervision of junior kitchen personnel
  • Ensure the kitchen remains organized and well-maintained
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within hotel or high-volume settings
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, OH&S, and kitchen hygiene protocols
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure
  • Flexibility to work variable shifts, including weekends
  • Reliable transportation

Work Schedule:

Breakfast service: 5:30am - 11:30am, with 3-5 shifts per week, including weekends as required.

Monday - Friday: $28.12 per hour, Saturday: $35.15 per hour, Sunday: $42.18 per hour.
