Job Opportunity: We are seeking a commercially astute and strategically minded Legal Professional to join our collaborative leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing legal advice on a wide range of matters including corporate governance, mining regulations, employment law, procurement, and compliance.
  • Supporting mergers and acquisitions, takeover activities, and divestment transactions including conducting due diligence and preparing transaction documentation.
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex legal agreements.
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, ASX Listing Rules, and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to promote strong governance and risk management practices.
  • Managing relationships with external advisors and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring alignment with policies and safety standards.
  • Assisting with company secretarial activities.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organisation.
  • Ability to deliver pragmatic, commercially sound legal advice in a dynamic business environment.
  • Significant demonstrated experience, ideally across both private practice and in-house roles.
  • Tertiary qualification in Law and admission to practice in Western Australia.
  • Strong working knowledge of the legal regime applicable to mining and exploration in Western Australia.
  • Proven experience in M&A transactions, commercial negotiations, and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience across corporate, commercial, employment, litigation, and regulatory matters is desirable.
