Job Title: ICT Support Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled ICT support specialist to join our team in Melbourne.


The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PLM implementation and support, specifically with Siemens Teamcenter (including Rich Client, Active Workspace, BMIDE).


They will also possess strong proficiency in CAD software, particularly the Solid Edge Portfolio including NX Portfolio for Design (Modeling, Mold Wizard, etc.), and Rhino.


In-depth knowledge of PLM modules including Requirement Management, Change Management, BOM Management, and MCAD Integration; Technical skills including TCL, VB.NET, HTML are essential for this role.


The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and troubleshooting for PLM, CAM, and CAD software and hardware problems.


They will also be responsible for determining software and hardware requirements to provide effective solutions to client issues.


Additionally, they will diagnose, identify, and resolve system problems and user-reported issues related to software functionality, data access, and workflows to ensure minimal downtime.


Installing, downloading, and configuring PLM system infrastructure, including applications like Teamcenter and its integrations, ensuring efficient use of applications and equipment is also a key responsibility.


The ICT support specialist will work closely with users and senior engineers to resolve complex technical issues, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Mechanical Engineering or Information Technology
  • Proven expertise in PLM implementation and support
  • Strong proficiency in CAD software
  • In-depth knowledge of PLM modules
  • Technical skills including TCL, VB.NET, HTML
