RDO Equipment is one of the world's largest and most trusted John Deere and Vermeer equipment dealers, selling and supporting John Deere Construction & Forestry, and Agricultural & Turf machinery. Our company proudly employs over 1,000 staff, operating out of 29 dealership locations in metro and regional Australia, providing parts and service support for the agricultural, roads, civil construction, landscaping, mining, and forestry sectors.
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and customer service-orientated business leader to manage our Darwin branch in the Northern Territory. As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 27 across our 3 departments - Parts, Sales & Service. Your key objectives will include efficiently managing and directing all aspects of the branch to ensure maximum efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Branch team and hold Managers accountable for team and financial performance.
- Motivate employees and set appropriate individual and team performance goals.
- Conduct performance appraisals.
- Foster a positive work environment.
- Full profit and loss responsibility of the branch.
- Develop budgets and strategies in alignment with the organisation's financial and operational objectives.
- Uphold and guide margins in accordance with approved Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Review financial reports.
- Achieve market share.
- Ensure customer satisfaction. Work with all departments to know the customer's current and future expectations.
We are looking for an individual with established experience in a senior leadership role, with full profit and loss responsibility in a similar role. You will bring a highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive leadership style, as well as knowledge of John Deere agricultural and/or construction dealership business operations (advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided). High emotional intelligence and the ability to work well in a diverse, fast-growing business are essential.
