As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in the success of our business. Our High Performing Field Service Engineers are key ambassadors for us, bringing our products and services to the market. They demonstrate a clear understanding of customers' business needs and convert that into a solution and offering from us.

This position offers great flexibility working in the field, covering either a territory and/or markets. You will be responsible for installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of our product suite. Establishing effective relationships with external and internal customers is crucial, as well as managing customer expectations and ensuring compliance regulations are followed.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, performance maintenance, troubleshoot and support scientific instrumentation
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with external and internal customers
  • Manage customer expectations by communicating work performed and providing follow-up plans if needed
  • Ensure customer compliance regulations are followed
  • Manage service inventory according to company policies
  • Issue daily reports to document work performed
  • Maintain sound knowledge regarding technology and customers' application demands
  • Work with Sales team to identify future business development opportunities and needs for service contract sales
  • Ensure quality system procedures and Health & Safety standards are adhered to at all times

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Chemistry or Biology, engineering, or other science-related field is desired; will also consider applications with equivalent experience, training, and education
  • 3 years of experience with installation, performance maintenance, troubleshooting, support, and/or end-user utilization of scientific instrumentation; preference for previous experience with our product suite
  • Ability to perform effective system-level troubleshooting
  • Understanding of scientific application workflow along with scientific software systems
