Construction Project Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the development of a greenfield energy project.

This exciting initiative aims to enhance regional energy security and stability within the power grid, supporting Australia's transition to net-zero emissions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of zero harm by implementing and monitoring health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  • Oversee contractors and manage on-site performance to ensure the project meets contractual obligations.
  • Develop and maintain project-specific management plans, including quality control, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Establish clear communication with internal teams, external stakeholders, and the community to keep everyone informed and engaged.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing project team, focusing on alignment with business objectives and effective resource management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Hold a technical bachelor's degree, preferably with qualifications in engineering, construction, or project management.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in similar-sized projects (A$100m+) with a focus on energy infrastructure.
  • Proven track record in managing construction teams and complex projects.
  • Experience with major energy infrastructure, ideally including utility battery storage or transmission substations.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and mitigate organisational risks effectively.
