About the Role:

This is an excellent opportunity to join our team as an Apprentice and gain hands-on experience working on diverse projects across parks, gardens, and outdoor spaces. You will work alongside skilled professionals to develop your skills and knowledge, while attending regular classroom sessions to enhance your theoretical understanding.

The role is based at Wentworth Point where you will work on a range of tasks including maintaining roadsides, lawns, strata gardens, community areas, and hedged areas. Throughout the program, you'll receive expert mentorship and practical training, leading to a nationally recognized trade qualification.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain practical experience in horticulture through hands-on work with experienced professionals
• Develop theoretical knowledge through regular classroom sessions
• Work on various projects across parks, gardens, and outdoor spaces
• Collaborate with the team to maintain and enhance green spaces

 

Requirements:

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about horticulture and have a willingness to learn new skills. While prior experience is not necessary, you must be able to demonstrate a positive attitude and a strong work ethic. A current driver's license is desirable, and you must be prepared to obtain a Working With Children Check, a White Card, and a Police Check.
