At our Mobile Maintenance team, we are seeking a skilled Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our workshop based team at Newman Operations.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our operations, working with both breakdown and planned maintenance teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections on heavy diesel equipment
  • Diagnosing, repairing, and refurbishing engines and components, primarily on CAT 793F Trucks and CAT 785 Watercarts
  • Collaborating with a skilled team to ensure optimal performance and safety standards

You will be required to commit to an 8/6 roster, followed by 7 nights on, 7 nights off, with FIFO arrangements from Perth.

Trade qualified Heavy Diesel Fitters with previous experience in mining or a transferrable industry, particularly with larger sized earthmoving equipment, are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of CAT engines is desirable.
