How You'll Contribute
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for nurturing and expanding our partnerships with Accounting & Bookkeeping firms.
This phone-based role involves guiding partners through our platform, developing tailored business strategies, and driving regional growth initiatives to enhance the Xero Partner ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively manage and prioritize your territory, categorizing and tracking all new and existing Accounting and Bookkeeping Partners.
- Identify and capitalize on sales opportunities to build a robust sales pipeline.
- Optimize your daily schedule to maximize calling time, meeting monthly sales and call targets.
- Develop and implement business plans to secure larger or longer-term deals, collaborating closely with partners to drive success.
- Host and present at Xero sales events, driving partner attendance and engagement.
- Promote deeper penetration within our existing Partner base.
- Stay abreast of Xero features and functionality through ongoing training and update webinars.
- Meet activity targets and maintain a high level of certification among partners.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of inbound and outbound calls in Salesforce.
Requirements
- Proven experience in inbound phone and email sales, with a strong track record of sales performance.
- A genuine interest in the emerging online accounting market.
- Ability to quickly establish trust and rapport with partners over the phone.
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- A process-driven mindset, with a proactive approach to ownership.
- A go-getter attitude, with initiative and self-motivation.
- Knowledge of accounting products and understanding of accounting practices.
- Experience managing long-term client relationships.
