Emergency Department Nursing Opportunity

This is a challenging and rewarding nursing opportunity to work in the Emergency Department, delivering high-quality patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent, efficient and effective nursing care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. This includes conducting initial assessments, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with patients, carers and loved ones to achieve patient empowerment, information sharing and confidence in nursing staff.
  • Demonstrated extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively and respectfully within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions.
