Emergency Veterinary Nursing Role at a Busy Referral Hospital

We are seeking an enthusiastic and patient care focused Veterinary Nurse within our busy referral hospital. We pride ourselves on having friendly and sociable teams with a great support network.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply and adapt your clinical nursing skills to an emergency and critical care focused caseload.
  • Work directly with ECC specialist, ECC speciality intern and ECC OOH vets.
  • Use of Smart Flow system to assess and record patient vitals.

Essential Criteria:

  • Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.
  • Experience in a specialty and/or critical care role.
  • Further training in an ECC nursing role is preferred.
  • Experience using Ventilators is a must.
