We have a dedicated Critical Care Unit with state-of-the-art equipment to provide dedicated care to the most critically ill patients.

The Animal Referral Hospital at Homebush in Sydney is looking for Emergency Vet Nurses to join our close-knit team that is dedicated to the best possible patient outcomes.Your responsibilities will include:Providing amazing nursing care to critically ill and injured patients from triage throughout their stay with usWorking directly with our skilled veterinary team to deliver timely and effective treatment and patient careMonitor patients closely, administer medications, assist with medical and surgical procedures as neededIV catheter placement, blood collection, assisting with diagnostic imaging.
This could progress to advanced line placements and advanced critical monitoring in our dedicated CCU for the right candidateMaintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with hospital protocolsClient communication, providing advice, answering questions and supporting clients during stressful timesOur ideal candidate will have:Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or equivalent with minimum 2yrs nursing experienceHave a passion to advance their skills with regular CE and ongoing in-house mentorshipStrong attention to detail with ability to multitask/prioritiseAbility to provide high quality patient care even in busy conditionsA friendly, team player attitude - team culture is very important to us
