Emergency Care Specialist

This position requires an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to support nursing teams in planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based person-centred patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Support nursing teams by mentoring them in developing patient care strategies.
- Demonstrate professionalism through adherence to AHPRA professional standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and policies.
- Foster a learning environment by presenting clinical knowledge to support nursing team development.
- Work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
- Maintain effective working relationships with VMO partners using a customer service mindset.
- Current AHPRA registration is required for this position.
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in ED with strong clinical skills and knowledge in resuscitation, triage, and leadership roles.
- A postgraduate qualification in emergency nursing or working towards is preferred.
- Understanding of Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards is essential.
- Ability to show initiative and work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required.
