Graphic design specialist with amazing visual communication skills

We are seeking a talented and values-driven part-time graphic design specialist (3-4 days per week) to join our Sydney-based team. Relevant experience, rather than years in industry, will determine success in this role.

About the role

This diverse role includes managing our corporate brand and identity, website, and social media presence, as well as delivering high-quality print and digital artwork (including infographics) to support our engagement and social impact initiatives. It also involves developing content that visualizes complex technical aspects of infrastructure delivery clearly and effectively.

You should demonstrate strong experience in:

1. Designing print and digital materials such as brochures, posters, social media graphics, presentations, documents, and website visuals
2. Leading the creation of visually engaging content within collaborative project teams, ensuring alignment with project requirements and brand guidelines
3. Document remediation in InDesign and MS Word to meet WCAG accessibility guidelines, using tools like Axes4 and PDFix
4. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, including overseeing freelance designers and consultants
5. Staying updated with industry trends and incorporating innovative ideas, including AI advancements
6. Leading proposals for creative services and supporting project management, including pricing graphic design outputs
7. Managing our corporate brand and website, preferably with WordPress experience
8. Designing business documents in MS Word with templates, style sheets, and accessibility considerations
9. Using MS Office 360 suite for design and collaborating via SharePoint

Your values and attributes include holding a relevant Bachelor's degree, a strong portfolio showcasing print and digital artwork, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, and a solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout. Knowledge of print production and digital delivery is essential. You must have full Australian working rights.
