Security Training and Development Specialist

Chandler Macleod is seeking a highly skilled Security Training and Development Specialist to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Deliver Security Training: Develop and deliver innovative, relevant, and culturally sensitive learning solutions for our staff and external agencies.
- Develop Training Strategies: Create 'training strategies' and produce 'training outcome' briefs and other high-level briefs as required, for our Executive.
- Identify Security Training Gaps: Continually analyze and review our training curricula to ensure training aligns with our objectives and identify security training and capability gaps.
- Oversee Security Training Scheduling: Oversee the scheduling of security training and prioritize enrolment of course participants.
- Interpret and Enact Security Policy: Interpret, apply, and enact security policy and procedures and educate others on these aspects.
- Develop the Diplomatic Security Officer Development Program: Assist with the development and management of the Diplomatic Security Officer Development Program (RSO focused training program and continuum).
- Deliver Innovative Approaches: Deliver innovative approaches to building capability across our network and ensuring the network can meet the demands on it into the future.
- Prepare Briefing Material: Prepare briefing material and policy guidance to inform and guide our department and its people.
- Qualification and/or Demonstrated Experience in Training and Assessment: Qualification and/or demonstrated experience in training and assessment.
- Previous Experience in Protective Security: Previous experience in Protective Security would be desirable.
- Experience or Knowledge of the Overseas Security Environment: Experience or knowledge of the overseas security environment is desirable.
