ACM Recruitment is working on behalf of a government department to source an experienced and dedicated Training and Assessment Specialist to design, develop, and deliver security training to those both domestically and overseas, for the department.
Responsibilities:- Develop innovative, relevant, diversity-enabled, and culturally sensitive learning solutions for officers.
- Design and create related training materials, support, and instructional resources for participants.
- Design and deliver training using various modalities, including face-to-face, virtual, e-learning, or blended learning options.
- Continuously analyse and review training curricula to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Deliver presentations and facilitate training for staff and external agencies.
- Develop training strategies and produce outcome briefs and other high-level reports.
- Identify security training and capability gaps and determining strategies to address them.
- Oversee the scheduling of security training and prioritise course participant enrolment.
- Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand and refine security training needs.
- Assisting with the development and management of the Diplomatic Security Officer Development Program.
- Preparing briefing materials and policy guidance to inform and guide the department and its personnel.
- Qualification and/or demonstrated experience in training and assessment.
- Previous experience in Protective Security would be desirable.
- Experience or knowledge of the overseas security environment is desirable.
Please note: This is a security designated position and specified Personnel will be required to hold a current Australian Government Negative Vetting Level 2 Security Clearance prior to commencement.
