Tour Operations Leader

We are seeking an experienced Tour Operations Leader to join our team at Cooinda Lodge Kakadu. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Tours department and delivering exceptional customer experiences through effective service delivery and logistical management.

About the Role
  • Lead the overall operations of the Tours division, ensuring high-quality guest experiences through exceptional service delivery, logistics management, and product development.
  • Drive the recruitment, training, and development of tour guides, championing sustainable employment and cultural engagement.
  • Maintain key stakeholder relationships, including Parks Australia and Traditional Owners, promoting respectful collaboration and community involvement.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Proven leadership in high-volume tourism operations, ideally in remote or regional Australia, with a passion for Indigenous tourism and cultural interpretation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, financial planning, and team development.
  • Driver's license mandatory (LR or MR preferable) and Kakadu knowledge highly regarded;
  • H endorsement desirable.
