Tour Operations Manager

As a leader in tourism operations, you will be responsible for driving the Tours department through effective customer service and logistics management.
The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills in high-volume tourism operations, preferably in remote or regional Australia, with a passion for Indigenous tourism and cultural interpretation.
Responsibilities- Lead the overall operations of the Tours division, ensuring high-quality guest experiences through exceptional service delivery and product development.
- Recruit, train, and develop tour guides, championing sustainable employment and cultural engagement.
- Maintain key stakeholder relationships, promoting respectful collaboration and community involvement.
- Competitive Salary: AUD 79,000 to 89,000 per annum, inclusive of superannuation.
- Fully Equipped Apartment Provided: A fully furnished apartment on-site at no cost, including utilities and maintenance.
- Complimentary Meals: All meals provided free of charge through staff dining facilities.
- Proven leadership in high-volume tourism operations, ideally in remote or regional Australia.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, financial planning, and team development.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory (LR or MR preferable) and knowledge of Kakadu is highly regarded;
- H endorsement is desirable.
