At Cooinda Lodge Kakadu, we are seeking a seasoned professional to take on the role of Tours Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven leadership skills and experience in high-volume tourism operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the overall strategy and execution of tours, including recruitment, training, and development of Indigenous and non-Indigenous tour guides. They will also maintain key stakeholder relationships with Parks Australia and Traditional Owners, promoting respectful collaboration and community involvement.

In this role, you will lead a team of professionals to achieve high-quality outcomes in tourism operations, sales, financial planning, and team development. If you have a passion for Indigenous tourism and cultural interpretation, strong commercial acumen, and excellent leadership skills, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive tour growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of market trends and competitor activity to ensure our tours remain competitive.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote our brand and values.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a similar role or industry.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in sales, financial planning, and team development.
  • Driver's license mandatory (LR or MR preferable) and Kakadu knowledge highly regarded.
