Job Role:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our tax compliance and advisory activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, review and lodge tax returns including income tax, GST, FBT and payroll tax
  • Deliver accurate tax effect accounting and deferred tax calculations for financial reporting
  • Provide clear tax advice across a broad range of business transactions
  • Liaise with tax authorities, auditors, and internal stakeholders to resolve complex tax matters
  • Drive continuous improvement in tax processes and controls, with a strong focus on compliance

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Big 4 or corporate tax, including MEC groups, tax consolidation, and deferred tax
  • CA/CPA qualified with a Commerce or Accounting degree
  • Deep knowledge of Australian tax law, ATO guidance, and IFRS/Corporations Act compliance
  • Strong Excel skills and ERP system experience
  • Proactive, collaborative, and solutions-focused with excellent communication skills
