This role involves working alongside key accounting teams to partner with the Business in delivering accurate financial results for the Investment Management portfolio. Key responsibilities include financial accounting and reporting of the Asset portfolio, assisting in the preparation of monthly, half-year, and year-end financial results, and preparing profit and loss statements and variance analysis.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional with a strong understanding of accounting standards and principles. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year experience in management and financial accounting, with experience in managing varied stakeholder relationships and preparing monthly financial results. Property experience is preferred, and technical experience in SAP, Anaplan, or similar is desired but not necessary.

Requirements

  • CA/CPA/CIMA accreditation advantageous
  • Minimum 1 year experience in management and financial accounting in a similar role (Essential)
  • Experience in managing varied stakeholder relationships (Essential)
  • Experience in preparing monthly financial results (Desired)
  • Property experience (preferred)
  • Technical experience in SAP, Anaplan or similar (Desired but not necessary)
  • Demonstrated understanding of accounting standards and principles
  • Well-developed communication skills - can express ideas, both in writing and verbally
  • Builds constructive working relationships characterised by a high level of acceptance, cooperation, and mutual respect
  • Can solve problems and make decisions through properly understanding issues, referring to relevant data to draw conclusions, effectively determining the best solution and taking action accordingly
