About the Role

Talent Web is seeking a highly skilled Property Accounting Lead to join our high-performing team in Sydney. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in financial reporting, compliance, and performance analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance: Prepare, review, and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring timely submission to stakeholders.
  • General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger reconciliations, month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Tenant Financial Oversight: Manage rental income, outgoings, and coordinate with property managers on tenant accounts, maintaining strong relationships and resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead annual budgeting for properties, conduct variance analysis, and provide insightful recommendations to drive business growth.
  • Audit & Taxation Compliance: Prepare audit documentation, collaborate with external tax agents, and ensure seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Drive efficiency by identifying and implementing financial process improvements, resulting in cost savings and enhanced productivity.
