HV Electrician Job Overview

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join our dynamic team at Olive Downs Complex, delivering excellence in mining with a strong focus on safety and environmental standards. Pembroke Resource's Olive Downs Complex is a greenfield project located 40 kilometres south-east of Moranbah.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a fleet of AC Electric Drive Haul Trucks (Autonomous) and other plant equipment and site infrastructure safely and efficiently in accordance with maintenance systems documentation.
  • Work safely and comply with the Site Safety Health and Management System.
  • Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services, and component change outs.
  • Perform statutory electrical testing/inspections periodically.
  • Source technical information from reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM, and computer-based systems.
  • Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times.
  • Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation.

About You:

The ideal candidate will be a safety-focused individual who enjoys delivering results in a dynamic environment. The successful applicant will hold:

  • A Queensland Electrical Work Licence or equivalent.
  • HV Switching certification is desirable.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in heavy industry or construction.
  • A current LVR/CPR certificate.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.
  • A current Standard 11.
