Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Protection Lead to oversee the development and implementation of data protection policies, procedures, and controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards, and driving a culture of data protection across the organization.

  • Develop and implement data protection policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data protection is integrated into all aspects of the business.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on data protection best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data protection and recommend improvements to our current practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in data protection, including experience in developing and implementing data protection policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas of improvement and develop effective solutions.
  • A high level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
