Job Description">

The Office of Quality and Standards at Murdoch University provides central services to ensure quality and compliance, develop educational policy, and manage curriculum and student integrity. Our team also maintains academic quality, compliance with policies and regulations, and enhances quality and compliance processes and data quality.

Our collaborative Curriculum Quality and Management team supports the University's curriculum management and governance functions and maintains the University's curriculum management system.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring curriculum change proposals are comprehensive, clearly documented, compliant with policy and procedure, and successfully navigated through the approvals process.

You will work closely with academic staff to help turn their ideas for new or updated curriculum into reality, guiding them through the curriculum management process from initial concept to final approval.

Your role involves supporting the planning, design and execution of curriculum projects, facilitating effective two-way communication between academic Schools and the Quality and Standards Office, and delivering processes which support the curriculum management function.

Key responsibilities include advising on all aspects of curriculum portfolio planning, documenting curriculum for approval, and providing secretarial support to committees reviewing curriculum changes.

Please note that this role focuses on curriculum management rather than curriculum design. You will not be required to design or develop curriculum content.

Knowledge of good practices, developments and trends in Higher Education learning and teaching (including international) and an ability to analyse both qualitative and quantitative evidence of learning and teaching quality is also required.

Experience developing and preparing written documentation required for the establishment, maintenance and service of committees and governance processes is highly desirable.

Benefits">

This full-time role offers a competitive remuneration package, including salary packaging options, flexible work arrangements, cultural load and allowance, indigenous language allowance, employee assistance program, and on-campus services and facilities.

Staff enjoy a vibrant, natural campus with world-class facilities, along with a variety of benefits that promote work-life balance and well-being.
