Senior Lecturer job seekers can seize a rewarding opportunity that offers career development in medical education. The role involves working closely with the National Lead of the CCP Domain to develop, coordinate, and deliver curriculum and assessments across the MD program.

This part-time position is based in Fremantle and reports to the National Lead in Sydney. The Senior Lecturer will collaborate with colleagues across campuses to ensure high-quality communication and clinical skills training throughout the MD program, working with academic and professional staff, as well as leadership teams.

The responsibilities include supporting the National CCP Domain Lead in curriculum development, coordination, and implementation, leading the implementation of the CCP Domain in the Fremantle MD Program, collaborating with other domain leads and assessment teams to ensure CCP learning objectives are appropriately assessed and integrated, developing and marking examinations, writing assessment questions, and developing clinical examination stations.

The Senior Lecturer will also coordinate and manage clinical exams (OSCEs) in Fremantle across the MD program, provide administrative leadership to the CCP Domain team in Fremantle, carry out teaching duties as per university policy, participate in relevant committees and groups as needed.

To be eligible for this role, applicants must have a Medical degree registrable with AHPRA and a Fellowship in Medicine, Health, or Medical Education, or a PhD, or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline for over 5 years. Experience in curriculum design, delivery, and assessment in medical education, preferably in a tertiary health setting is also desirable.
